Flyer Dropping Guidelines

1. Shift Duration:

  • Each shift lasts approximately 4 hours, providing flexibility in your schedule.

2. Delivering Flyers:

  • Deliver flyers to all letterboxes on both sides of the street, except those marked “No Junk Mail.”
  • The number of flyers per shift ranges from 800 to 1,000, depending on the area.

3. Pickup or Delivery:

  • Flyers can be either picked up from the client or sent directly to you.
  • If you have a car, you might be asked to drop flyers to other walkers nearby.

4. Suburb Boundaries:

  • Stay within the suburb you’re distributing to.
  • Use a simple Google suburb search to find the roads that border the area.

5. Equipment Needed:

Make sure you have:

  • Smartphone (for the GPS mapping app)
  • Backpack
  • Water bottle
  • Hat
  • Comfortable walking shoes

6. Confidentiality:

  • Respect privacy: Deliver to every letterbox except those marked “No Junk Mail.”
  • Maintain confidentiality: Don’t share any information about the flyers or clients.

7. Tracking Your Progress:

  • Use the “Map My Walk” app to track your distribution progress.
  • Start and end your shifts from home.

8. Getting paid:

  • You’ll be paid $30 per hour for actual walking time, plus travel costs.
  • We cover your driving time and pay you the same hourly rate.
  • Create an invoice for the hours you have worked.

9. Timely Completion:

  • Complete the assigned job within 5 business days.

  • Check your email for specifics on flyer pickup or delivery.
